Scenes II
Scenes II begins where Scenes I leaves off, applying the concepts learned in Emotional Life to dive further into scenework!
Actors are encouraged to explore more deeply and meaningfully while building on the skills learned in prior coursework. The idea of character is explored and developed utilizing all the skills learned in prior classes.
In addition, other topics will include:
- What Character Is and Is NOT
- Knowing
- Throughlines and Deepest Wishes
- Why? Finding the Meaning
- Making It Personal
- Doings
- Playing the Part
A lab component will be part of this class and will be available one hour before class for students to practice their skills. The Foundation I, Foundation II, and Scenes I are prerequisites for this class.
HOMEWORK WILL BE REQUIRED.
